Buckeye Local earlier dropped a 13-3 make-up game at Harrison Central.
"The kids really come out today focused, ready to play the game," said Toronto head coach Brian Perkins. "We knew we had this in us.
"We have an inexperienced team and, as the year goes on, they're showing that they are maturing and growing and if we continue to get after it like we did today, hopefully we'll be successful down the line."
The Red Knights scored three in the bottom of the first as Chez Glenn, Danny Zdinak and Blaze Glenn all singled, Glenn's for an RBI.
Billy Solomon scored Zdinak with a groundout and Tyler Antinone's single brought in Glenn.
In the second, Will Newbold reached on an error and eventually scored on an error. Chezz Glenn walked, stole second, moved to third on an error and scored on Zdinak's groundout.
Solomon doubled and Antinone singled to begin the third. Ryan Cline singled to bring on Solomon and Antinone scored on an error. Solomon walked and scored on Cline's single in the fourth.
Chez Glenn and Zdinak singled and Blaze Glenn walked to load the sacks with one out in the fifth. Nate Stewart brought Chez Glenn home with a sacrifice fly and Zdinak scored from second on Solomon's single to end the game.
"It hasn't been a good day," said Panthers head coach Rick DeLuca. "I think we are one of the better hitting teams in the valley and we couldn't get a timely hit today at all."
Buckeye Local left the bases loaded in the third, fourth and fifth innings and left two on in the first and second frames.
The Red Knights will play in Gettysburg today and tomorrow.
