STEUBENVILLE - The Madonna boys tennis team earned a 4-1 victory over host Steubenville Thursday at Belleview Park.
The Blue Dons' Matt Conforti and Thomas Gianni cruised past Dom DiCarlo and Annie Nehrbas 6-1, 6-1, while Alan Alimario and Dominic Clements defeated Tyler Clevenger and Alex Isla 6-3, 6-3.
In singles, Madonna's Cole Roberts beat Phil Soutz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 and Spencer Stcavage topped Federico Torres 6-2, 6-3. Big Red's lone point came as Jorge Dominguez downed Ryan Watts 6-2, 6-2.

Oak Glen sweeps Weir
CHESTER - The Oak Glen tennis teams swept visiting Weir High 6-1 (girls) and 5-2 (boys) Thursday at Mountaineer Park.
The Golden Bears swept the singles action on the girls side as Haley Spurlock beat Claudia Diaz (8-4), Madison Huszczak topped Barbara Soliminova (8-3), Madison Hill defeated Bailee Tusick (8-2) and Katie Szymanski blanked Ryleigh Glaspell 8-0.
In doubles, Spurlock and Juszczak defeated Diaz and Soliminova 8-4 and Molly Swartzmiller and Kayla Strong bested Christine Robinson and Hannah Hinerman 8-1.
Weir's Morgan Cassels and Mikayla Zias beat Hill and Szymanski 8-2.
Oak Glen also swept the singles in the boys match as Addison Sayre topped Matt Tenaglio (8-2), Cullen Bennett edged Brenden Wade (8-6), Nate Bennett nipped Jordan Barney (8-6) and Evan Hall beat Josk Kolling (8-1).
In doubles, Sayre and Nate Bennett stopped Tenaglio and Kolling, 8-2.
The Red Riders' Wade and Barney defeated Cullen Bennett and Hall (8-2) and Kyle McKitrick and Hayden Vito beat Devon Flanigan and Eddie Krupa 8-2.
