Pinwheel planting

April 2, 2014
The Herald-Star
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Jefferson County Job and Family Services, Children Services Division, held its annual pinwheel planting at the courthouse Tuesday to raise awareness of child abuse. Elizabeth Ferron, county job and family services director, said the pinwheels represent the work of children services and other agencies to have care free and happy children living in a safe community and homes. Pupils from the Steubenville Head Start participated in planting the pinwheels, including, from left, Arabella Brown-Hess, Nickolas Weese and Antavione Randall. - Mark Law
