KYLLONEN, Jeanne (Defant) Lauttamus, 93, of Cambridge, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the Beckett House.
She was born July 20, 1920, in Steubenville and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Dalau) Defant.
Jeanne had previously worked at Weirton Hospital, then as a secretary for Weir High School from 1966-79. She was a member of Christ's Lutheran Church in Cambridge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Lauttamus in 1985 after 44 years of marriage; her second husband, Allen Kyllonen in 2005, her son, Jeffrey William Lauttamus in 2003; also, three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Lauttamus, her special daughter, Dr. Janet Brockwell; one daughter-in-law, Suzanne (Dave) Lauttamus- Hawthorne; four grandchildren, George (Debra) Lorenz, David (Jamie) Lorenz, Jeffrey (Brianna) Lauttamus and Stephanie Lauttamus; seven great-grandchildren, Sabastian, Shelby, Cole, Wesley and Ethan Lorenz, Daniel Thomas and Ellie Lauttamus; a number of beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. March 22, 2014, at Christ's Lutheran Church, 1101 Steubenville Ave., Cambridge with a lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Christ's Lutheran Church or the animal shelter of your choice.
