March 19, 2014
The Herald-Star
The Steubenville Big Red wrestling team and the Ohio Athletic Committee made a donation to the Tony Teramana Cancer Center and the Trinity Health System Foundation. “Over the past year, family and friends of the Big Red wrestling team have gone through or are still fighting a battle with cancer. In appreciation for the people close to us who are going through this, we want to give back and help someone else that might be experiencing the same thing,” said head coach Mike Blackburn. Making the donation are, from left, front, wrestlers Dakotah Goff, Tariq Wilson and Shawn Livingston; back, Blackburn; Lynn Barbe, director of the Tony Teramana Cancer Center; Dr. John Hyland, radiation oncologist at TTCC; and Big Red assistant wrestling coach Cornell Birden.
