Round Robin rescheduled for April 26
The Tri-State Area Master Gardeners Association's annual Round Robin event that was set for Jan. 25 but was canceled because of inclement weather is now on the calendar for April 26.
The workshop will be held at the Mary H. Weir Library at 3442 Main St., Weirton, beginning at noon and lasting until 4 p.m.
Subjects to be covered will include herbs, perennials, vegetable gardens, annuals, lawn maintenance, butterfly and bird gardens, trees and shrubs, deer and other pests, shade and sun gardens and ponds and water features.
Cost will be $7 at the door or $5 if pre-registered by contacting the WVU Hancock County Extension Office at (304) 564-3805 before April 21.
Programs and activities offered by the West Virginia University Extension Service are available to all persons without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age, veteran status, political beliefs, sexual orientation, national origin and marital or family status.
Caregiver support group meetings set
The Alzheimer's Association will be holding its monthly caregiver support groups on the following dates:
March 20 at 6 p.m. at Eastern Gateway Community College, 4000 Sunset Blvd., Room 1506, Steubenville; and
March 25 at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 400 Walnut St., Martins Ferry.

Stone Street Station to perform
Country Friends will host Hank Vincent and the Stone Street Station Saturday at Memorial Hall located at 67 Old Police Lodge Road, Colliers.
The doors open at 6 p.m., and the dance begins at 7 p.m.
Country Friends hosts covered-dish dinners and open mic nights every Monday and Friday. The doors open at 4 p.m., the meal begins at 5 p.m., and open mic begins at 6 p.m.
Country Friends is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Christian friendship and brotherly love through music. All proceeds go to charity.

Free breakfast at Gables

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. March 21 at Sacred Heart Center located at Fourth and Indiana Avenues,. Chester.

Bingo Cash Bash set for April 6
The Greater Weirton Area Senior Center will hold a Bingo Cash Bash at 1 p.m. April 6 at the senior center on Main Street, Weirton.

Tack auction to benefit facility
A tack auction will be held at 4-H Camp Aura, Ross Road, New Cumberland, on March 30.
Food concession and numbers will open at 11 a.m. with gift cards, items and services donated by local sponsors to be auctioned at noon.
The tack auction will begin no sooner than 1 p.m. and is being sponsored by the Sundowners 4-H Saddle Club. Proceeds will benefit the horse show facility at Camp Aura.
Name-brand tack, grooming supplies, barn supplies, riding gear, horse care, wormers, saddle pads and saddles will be available. All new tack will be provided by Steve Armstrong of Salem. Used tack consignments also will be taken.
Auction services will be provided by Reed's Auction Co. with Col. Larry Reed serving as auctioneer.
