benefit March 16
A spaghetti dinner benefit for Cameron Kerkuta will be held March 16 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit medical bills for Kerkuta, the 4-year-old son of Ryan Long and Shelby Kerkuta.
Cameron was taken Jan. 9 to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh with a rare frontal sinus infection that spread to his brain, according to a promotional flyer. "The infection formed an abscess causing him to have seizures and become unresponsive. Cameron has undergone a sinus surgery and three brain surgeries, all in the month of January because the infection is so hard to treat," the flyer reads. "He is a strong boy but has a long road of recovery ahead of him."
The benefit also will include a 50-50 drawing and auctions.
Cost is $15 per tickets. Monetary donations can be made to US Bank. For information, call Erin Authier at (740) 424-4313; Jessica Wilt at (740) 827-5319; or Jody at (740) 632-6632.
