GALLAGHER, Irene, 96, of Jerusalem, went home to be with her Savior, Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, while a patient in the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Sept. 27, 1917, in Monroe County, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Lillian Kinney McCollum.
Irene was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hilton Coss, her second husband, Raymond Straight, her third husband, Evangelist Jim Gallagher; an infant daughter, Faye Eileen Coss; her son-in-law, Dee Burrow; a great-great-grandson, Brayden Britton; four brothers, Jim, Walter, Sumner, and Bill; four sisters, Meredith, Mildred, Dorothy, and Audrey. Surviving are her daughter, Delores Burrow, of Beallsville; three grandchildren, Bob (Christy) Burrow of Beallsville, Darren (Tricia) Burrow of Cambridge; and Nellie (Chris) Perkins of Alledonia; a sister, Doris Brooks; seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today from 4-8 p.m. at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Graysville.
