McKinley’s visit
Mayor George Kondik, program chairman, right, and President George Charnie Jr., left, greeted U.S. Rep. David B. McKinley, R-Wheeling, for lunch with the Weirton Rotary Club on Wednesday at Williams Country Club. McKinley spoke to Rotarians about health care. “The most important thing for us to recognize is that it’s the law of the land, and we’ve got to make it work,” he said. “In 45 out of 50 states, there is less than 10 percent enrollment. We’ve got a long way to go,” he said. — Shae Dalrymple
