WELLSBURG - Gary L. Grooms II and Jessica L. Harvey were united in marriage at Lakeview Resort in Morgantown on Dec. 1, 2012, during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony with Pastor Tom Edgell officiating.
The bride, the daughter of the late Thomas L. Harvey, was given in marriage by her mother, T. Louise Harvey of Bridgeport, W.Va. She wore an ivory and champagne strapless gown with sweetheart neckline featuring sparkling champagne crystals and sequins at the neckline. The waist was embellished with a champagne silk charmeuse band with delicate embroidery throughout the dress and chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses, lizianthus, tulips, and dusty miller.
The groom is the son of Paulette Grooms of Wellsburg and the late Gary L. Grooms.

Brooke Cunningham of Bridgeport, served as her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shannon Harvey and Jenalyn Mayle, both of Bridgeport.
William Black IV of Morgantown served as best man. Groomsmen were Ross Tennant III of Wellsburg and Doug Harvey of Bridgeport.
Ava Scolapio of Clarksburg, W.Va., was the flower girl, and Liam Mayle of Bridgeport, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed the ceremony at Lakeview Resort.
The bride is a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Wesleyan College and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is employed as a hospitalist at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
The groom is a graduate of Brooke High School and West Virginia University with a master's degree in physical therapy. He is employed at Genesis Health Systems.
Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple reside in Morgantown.
