SINDLINGER, Henry. E., 79, of Nashville, Indiana, died Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Brown County (Indiana) Health and Living Community.
Born December 6, 1933, in Brilliant, Ohio, he was the second of three sons of Edmond S. Sindlinger and Verda O. (Taylor) Sindlinger.
Henry lived most of his life with family in Brilliant before moving to Indiana in 2007. He was a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church and Lions Club. Henry had many interests including music, sketching and painting. He was a lover of animals and enjoyed gardening, fishing and family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Fred; and niece, Brenda.
He is survived by his brother, Verne (Phyllis) of Nashville, Indiana; aunt, Belvadell Sindlinger; niece, Deborah Sindlinger; nephew, Jonathan Sindlinger; niece, Elizabeth Curtis; and great-nephew, David Sindlinger.
A memorial service to celebrate Henry's life will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 11 a.m., at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third Street, Brilliant.
Friends are invited to visit the family beginning at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be directed in Henry's memory to the Brilliant Presbyterian Church, 200 Main St., Brilliant, Ohio 43913.
