An exhibition of work by master photographer Jay Stock of Martins Ferry will be on display from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 29 in the Gentile Gallery at the J.C. Williams Student Center at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. The exhibit is co-sponsored by the Academy of Lifelong Learning and the fine arts department of the university, and is another installment in the academy’s Rose Defede Lecture Series. The series features local individuals who have achieved recognition in their professions. Among those involved in the planning for the upcoming exhibit are, from left, Patricia Fletcher, lecture series chairman; Phyllis Foreman; Donna Keagler; Marge Bedortha; Mike Florak; and Iris Craig. — Mark J.
