The Raymond and Matilda Pashke family held its 38th-annual family reunion, a two-day event held Aug. 2-3.
The Mass for the family was held on Aug. 2 at St. Agnes Church in Mingo Junction. The events began that night with a pizza party at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Weirton, then a picnic the following day at Aracoma Park in Mingo.
There were 68 members attending from Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
Gloria Pashke of Atlanta, Ga., traveled the farthest; Kay Sohovich was the oldest in attendance; and Alexis Faris, daughter of Allyssa and Tyler Faris, was the youngest.
Activities included corn hole, cards and board games.
The reunion was organized by Anthony, Nial and Paul Pashke.
The Tice family reunion was held July 28 at Austin Lake park in Toronto with 78 in attendance.
Activities included bingo and the awarding of prizes.
Jackie Heckolic was the oldest person attending and Cayson Anthony the youngest.
The annual Timcho/Kendrach family reunion was held July 27 at Aracoma Park in Mingo Junction with 70 in attendance.
The family of the late Mack Timcho and Margaret Timcho hosted this year's event. Browns-Steelers was the theme of the event that included games and prizes. Margaret Timcho was honored on the occasion of her recent 90 birthday with a cake and skit entitled "This is Your Life," presented by her daughter, Peggy Harasick.
Family members were present from six states and ranged in age from 1 to 99. Cindy Kendrach Pitroff traveled the farthest distance from Miami, Fla.
Karen Savage Lloyd will be the chairperson for the 2014 reunion.
