Dennis Jones buried a time capsule filled with printed memorabilia Saturday at the Weirton Event Center. Among the items placed in the capsule were a banner from West Virginia’s Sesquicentennial celebration, a history of the Holliday’s Cove Fort penned by attorney Mike Nogay, Jones’ own history of Holliday’s Cove School, Goldie Baly’s Memoirs and a Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitor’s Bureau souvenir light. Jones is president of the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural Center.
