May 4, 2013
The Herald-Star
Dorothy Kane, project coordinator for the Tri-County Family Prevention Coalition, discussed workplace violence prevention and how to recognize potential sources of violence, during a training seminar for Jefferson County supervisors Friday at the Jefferson County Department of Job and Family Services. The seminar, sponsored by the agency and the A.L.I.V.E. shelter, focused on recognizing symptoms of a potentially violent situation developing in the workplace among co-workers or family members of workers. -- Mark J.
