WELLSBURG - The music department of Brooke High School will be presenting "Children of Eden," a unique look at the Biblical figures of Genesis and their interaction with God, Thursday through Saturday at the school's auditorium.

Written by Stephen Schwartz, creator of "Wicked" and "Godspell, " the musical tells the stories of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel and Noah and God's role as their parent with the help of a variety of musical styles, from gospel to jazz. It has been described as both thoughtful and rousing.

The production is being directed by Brooke faculty members and local theater veterans Nicolas Taylor and Carla Stone, assisted by Rachel Trimmer and Lindsay Six, student stage managers.
The cast includes Avery Drake as Father, Jordan Harlan as Adam, Victoria Gerst as Eve, Justin Cervenak as Noah and Kassidi Reitter as Noah's wife.
