WEIRTON - With the 2013 concert season set to open just weeks from now, First Niagara Pavilion will host a job fair Saturday at the Millsop Community Center.
Candidates for seasonal openings in security, guest services, parking, merchandising, ticketing, clean-up, food service and maintenance/grounds positions will be interviewed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Two forms of identification are required.
"We expect a good turnout," said Andy Dearth, marketing director for LiveNation. "I don't have exact numbers of what we hire, but we do know it's in the hundreds as far as the people who work for us."
Dearth said they've already had a hiring event in Robinson Township, Pa. They expect to hire about 100 more at Saturday's job fair, he said.
"I think 2013 is going to be one of the best summer concert seasons in a long time. Things are looking positive for us," he said. "I think music fans are going to love what they see."
