STEUBENVILLE - Samantha Lynn Pollmann and Justin Michael Motto were united in marriage on Aug. 4 at Franciscan University of Steubenville's Christ the King Chapel. The Rev. Father Mario Tizziani, uncle of the groom, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Susie and Steve Pollmann of Huntington Beach, Calif. The groom is the son of Joe and Gina Motto of Toronto.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. The bride wore an ivory ball gown with a sweetheart neckline and a beaded bodice that sat atop a draped tulle skirt. She carried a bouquet of blue and green hydrangeas, white roses, purple calla lilies, peacock feathers and some pothos.

Kelsey Jewell was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lizzie Moore, Alicia Moore and Megan Foy, cousins of the bride; Regina and Katie Anderson, cousins of the groom; and Sarah Schmidt.
Joe Motto, father of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Stuart and Stephen Pollmann, brothers of the bride, and Shane Lewis, Pat Maple, Matt Hamilton and David Middleton. Junior attendants were Samuel Pollmann, brother of the bride, and Hannah Larkey, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at Undo's in Weirton. The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of West Hills High School in Santee, Calif. She is pursuing a degree in English literature at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Catholic Central High School. He received his master's degree in business administration from Franciscan University of Steubenville in May. He is employed by Franciscan University of Steubenville.
The couple reside in Steubenville.
