The Buckeye Local Relay for Life Committee of the American Cancer Society will be sponsoring the fourth-annual Relay for Life Spring 5K Run/Walk on March 16 at the Yorkville Volunteer Fire Department located at 139 Market St., Yorkville.
The run/walk will have a 9 a.m. starting time, according to Diane McCracken, race director.
The event also will feature a "Fun Run" for children age 12 and under. It will have an 8:30 a.m. starting time.

Race day registration will be held from 7:30 a.m.
The course begins in front of the fire department and travels south on Market Street, east onto Deep Run Road, then north on old state Route 7. It is a flat, fast, out-and- back course.
There will be overall awards presented as well as in age divisions for males and females in the events.
The cost is $15 for the run and walk and $3 for the fun run.
