Stitch and Hitch
The Stitch and Hitch 4-H Club has again published a calendar of barns throughout Harrison County.
"Some of the barns are the older ones in the county. We have gone over back roads to find some of them. Adviser Sandy Valdinger, some of the 4-H members and I took the pictures," said Loretta Pickens, adviser for the club.
"If anyone in the county has pictures of barns no longer standing, we would like to focus on these for the 2014 calendar. They can send copies to me at 47539 Mader Road, Hopedale, OH, 43976," she said.
Calendars can be purchased for $12 by contacting Pickens at (740) 946-0964 or Jill Valdinger at (740) 942-3885.
