JOINING: Dr. Jory Richman recently joined the orthopedic practice of Dr. Kumar Amin located in the Medical Pavilion adjacent to Trinity Medical Center West.

Richman received his bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and then attended Case-Western Medical School.
He completed his fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery from Tulane and Louisville University. He holds the post of assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopedic Surgery and is the division chief of orthopedic surgery at UPMC Mercy.
Richman also has written and co-authored numerous articles on orthopedics.
NEW FIRM: Building on combined trial experience of more than 40 years, Joseph John and Anthony Werner have launched their own firm, John Werner, in Wheeling.
They are Wheeling natives with generations of Wheeling family roots. For the past 23 years each has handled a wide range of legal matters, both criminal and civil, focusing on litigation and trial work.
The two also demonstrated a commitment to the community through support of and participation in various religious and charitable organizations. Currently, Werner sits on the boards of directors for the Ohio County Public Library and the VNA Home Support Service Foundation, is the Pony League commissioner for Mountaineer Baseball organization and an elder at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
John is a fiduciary commissioner for Ohio County, is a past president of the Ohio County Bar Association and was on on the Corpus Christi Parish Finance Committee.
They'll represent individuals and businesses in a broad array of injury claims, including those arising from car wrecks, professional malpractice and employment misconduct.
They also will continue to handle contract negotiations and disputes relating to mineral and gas rights and property matters generally, as well as handling insurance claims of all types.
The office is located in the Board of Trade Building, Suite 200 on 12th Street in Wheeling.
HIRED: Dan Landini and Ron Schwarzel have joined the staff at Lauttamus Communications & Security, Weirton.
Landini, a field service engineer, will ensure the proper function and upkeep of all products facilitated by Lauttamus Communications & Security, according to officials.
Schwarzel, an account manager for Western Pennsylvania, will oversee sales and manage performance to ensure reliable customer service and customer satisfaction, and an educated and ethical presentation of the products and services they sell, officials said.
Lauttamus is a provider of communications products and services, including two-way radio systems, paging equipment, security monitoring services, around-the-clock answering services for business and professional clients, inbound call and customer service centers and consulting and technical assistance on 911 networks and projects, such as wireless telemetry, according to officials.
The company began operations in 1979 and has grown to more than 40 employees serving customers in the commercial, public, professional, industrial and residential markets.
