Antoinette and her husband Fred owned and operated Testa's Market in Steubenville for 43 years. They embraced and cherished traditional Italian culture and loved to spend time with family and friends. Antoinette and Fred loved the people of Steubenville and never forgot the wonderful friends and lasting memories of their neighborhood store. They felt blessed to have been part of the South Street family.

Antoinette was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony Altar and Rosary Society in Steubenville for most of her life. When Antoinette moved from the city to the country, she was graciously embraced by St. George Parish in Lisbon and the ladies of St. George Altar and Rosary Society, where she made new and lasting friendships.

She is survived by her son Louis and his wife Susan of Romeo, Michigan; two daughters: Mrs. Jack (Pauline) Tressler of East Rochester and Mrs. Tim (Freda) McNamara of Houston, Texas; grandchildren David Testa, Michael McNamara and Mrs. Cody (Kelly) George; and one great-granddaughter, Madeline Testa.

Antoinette's warmth and generosity to all those who knew her will keep her near and dear in our hearts. She will be remembered for her smile, generosity, and love of family and friends.

The family of Antoinette would like to thank the wonderful, caring people of Senior Independence Hospice and will forever be grateful for their loving care.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at St. George Catholic Church, 271 W. Chestnut St., Lisbon, with the Rev. James Lang officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Steubenville.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home, 215 W. Lincoln Way, Lisbon, where a prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
