John Scott Highway lane to be closed
STEUBENVILLE - The westbound right lane of Sunset Boulevard between Negley Avenue and John Scott Highway will be reduced to one lane from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
City Engineer Michael Dolak said the closure is needed so AT&T crews can perform work within their vault manhole on Sunset Boulevard.
Village council meeting rescheduled
WINTERSVILLE - Village Council will not meet Thursday evening due to the lack of a quorum.
The meeting has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. Monday in council chambers at the Municipal Building.
Salem Township trustees to meet
RICHMOND - The Salem Township trustees will meet for their reorganizational meeting at 7 p.m. on Jan. 7 at the township garage located at the corner of state Route 43 and township Road 216.
An incorrect meeting date was provided in a previous release.
WSX management meeting canceled
WEIRTON - The Weirton Steel Management Club's December meeting has been canceled.
The next meeting will be held Jan. 28.
