Ivy McCombs of Mingo Junction and other members of the Indian Creek High School Junior Honor Society and volunteers helped distribute food Thursday to about 250 families aided by Mingo Social Services this Christmas under the direction of Sophie Schoolcraft, director of Social Services; Cathy DiBenedetto, the group’s adviser; and Melissa Brown, a teacher at Hills Elementary School. Sarah Poulton, a representative of U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Marietta, also assisted.
