The Herald-Star
The Wal-Mart Distribution Center recently awarded 20 Wintersville Elementary School teachers with school supplies and reward cards to be used for the purchase of paper, folders, clipboards, pens, pencils, crayons and markers as part of its teacher rewards program. The nationwide program, in its fourth year, will reward teachers with up to $4.5 million to help with school supplies. Those involved at Wintersville Elementary School included, from left, Amy Lane, kindergarten teacher; Nicole McDonald, school principal; Amy Schmidt of the human resources department at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center; and Renita Lavender, human resources manager for the distribution center.
