Brooke, South split meet
WELLSBURG - The Brooke and Parkersburg South swim teams split a dual meet Tuesday at the Brooke Wellness Center with the Bruins winning the girls meet (82-68) and the Patriots the boys meet (113-52).
Brooke sophomore Jessica Wayne won the 200 free (2:23.83) and 500 free (6:27.98) and teamed with Sara Riggs, Michelle Woodstuff and Hannah Cebula to take the 400 free relay in 4:25.37.
Riggs also captured the 200 IM (2:39.02) and 100 back (1:09.96).
Cebula touched the wall first in the 100 free (1:03.45) and teammate Emiley Czesztilcki in the 100 fly (1:19.26).
The Bruins' Jordan Harlan won the 50 free (25.10) and 100 free (54.97) in the boys meet.
Touchdown club to meet
YORKVILLE - The Buckeye Local Touchdown Club will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 at the VFW. Anyone wishing to support Panther Football is encouraged to attend.
