Pupils at Pugliese West Elementary School prepared for the 2012 presidential election as paraprofessionals Charlene Petrozzi and Whitney Goff recently helped them research candidates and issues to answer the question, "Which candidate would you vote for?"
The activity helped make the pupils aware of the process of electing officials and the power of their vote. The pupils cast votes at a mock election held Tuesday.
Event participants included Leah Taglione, Breanna Wineman, James Watkins, Petrozzi, Layla Lombardo, Raegan Murison, Madalyn Criss, Addison Connor, Gianna Boley, Josh Russell Anderson, Gionna Gulan, Kelsie Hilliard and Goff.
