Vito “Skip” Cutrone, owner of Vito’s 2, and Eric Fithyan, owner of Chambers and James Funeral Homes, announced community projects undertaken by the two at Tuesday’s Follansbee Chamber of Commerce meeting. Vito’s 2 will hold a free Thanksgiving Day dinner and Cutrone will be collecting canned goods for the Follansbee R.E.A.C.H. Program, a local food pantry, at his other businesses, K&J’s Skip ‘n’ Go and the Java Shoppe. Fithyan will be collecting at the two funeral homes sweaters and gloves for veterans in nursing homes and donations for wreaths to be placed at veterans’ graves at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pa.
