To the editor:
I am writing to express facts about a candidate for Jefferson County commissioner, Billy Petrella. I am writing to explain his education, life and business experience.
He has studied finance and international business at a well-respected business university near Pittsburgh, and has also studied both of these fields in Rome, as he has traveled extensively, learning respect for the culture of others as well as international business and policy.
He has a master's degree from Robert Morris University with a concentration in employee relations, which I am sure has given him the knowledge to work with county employees and lead our county as a whole forward. Besides studying in Rome, he has always lived and paid taxes in Jefferson County. He also is very knowledgeable and respected in the business community. He and his brothers have exemplified doing business the right way and have an excellent reputation in the community.
He manages millions of dollars on a daily basis and has maintained the highest reputation in the investment business. He is young, but his youth does not mean he is inexperienced or uneducated. What is best about him is not his education or business background, but his passion for the county, his empathy for others, his extremely strong work ethic, his honesty and his commitment to uniting the leaders throughout Jefferson County and moving forward together.
That's why he should be a Jefferson County commissioner.
