STREHO, Carolyn Joyce, 71, of Burgettstown, PA., passed away Monday, October 15, 2012, at the Washington Hospital Hospice, Donnell House, of Washington, PA.
She was born September 29, 1941, in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Hubert L. and Margaret (Elice) Balon.
Carolyn is of the Presbyterian faith; was a member of the Burgettstown Senior Citizens Center, where she served as a volunteer cook, and she had been a June Taylor dancer in New York City.
She had been employed by the Weirton Steel Dinning Room in Weirton WV, and had most recently been employed as a nurse's aide at the Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Michael Scisciani; sons, Terry (Penny) Wolter of Toronto, OH, and Scott Wolter of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Victoria, Evan, Tanner and Ty Wolter; sister, Patricia (John) Chihocky; and brother, Thomas (Lorraine) Balon, both of Weirton, WV.
There will be a private memorial service celebrating the life of Carolyn at the convenience of the family.
