STEUBENVILLE - Ashley Dawn Cross and William Evan DeGarmo were united in marriage Aug. 17 during a 5:30 p.m. service at Holy Family Church officiated by Monsignor Gerald Calovini.
The bride, the daughter of Roberta Cross of Toronto and Timothy Cross of Follansbee, was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a one-shoulder taffeta ballgown featuring ruched pick-ups with an asymmetric draped bodice embellished with beaded flowers, metallic embroidery and pearl accents.
The groom is the son of Charles and Suzanne DeGarmo of Wellsburg.

Darcy DeGarmo of Wellsburg, sister-in-law of the groom, and Brittney Yoklic of Weirton served as matrons of honor. Bridemaids were Mackenzie Boyd, cousin of the bride; Hope Nicholson; Jen Cline; and Erica Wetherell and Emily Guerriro, sisters of the groom.
Adam DeGarmo of Wellsburg served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Anthony Cross and Brandon Cross, brothers of the bride; Eric Smail of Follansbee; Chase DeGarmo, brother of the groom; Patrick Donley of Wellsburg; Andrew Mazella of Beech Bottom; and Shane Wetherell and Chris Guerriero, brothers-in-law of the groom.
Camryn Truemper, cousin of the bride, and Madison DeGarmo, niece of the groom, served as flower girls.
Carson Truemper, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held in Holy Family church's Malara Hall. The couple took a wedding trip to Wilmington, N.C.
The bride earned an associate degree in applied science from Eastern Gateway Community College and is an expanded function dental assistant in Oakland, Pa.
The groom's education includes Wyoming Technical Institute in mechanics and an associate degree in business. He is an ASE certified mechanic at Lyle's Auto in Follansbee.
The couple live in Mingo Junction.
