DEAN, David M., 50, of Burgettstown, PA, passed away on Monday October 1, 2012, after a lengthy illness, at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV.
He was born March 13, 1962, in Lowville, NY. The son of Rosemary Hanno Dean and the late Richard Dean.
He was also preceded in death by siblings; Gary Dean, Patty Steria, Kathy Enslow, Judy Kellogg, and Carole Thayer. David was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church.
He was a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, NY with a bachelors degree in physics.
He was previously employed as a mechanical engineer for IBM and Diebold. David was an avid hunter, fisherman, cross country skier, baseball player, and quite involved with his sons.
Surviving are his sons; Bryon M. Dean and Carter D. Dean, and their mother; Terri Cumblidge Dean, all of Burgettstown, PA, siblings; William and Dick Dean, Cherie Szewil, all of Lowville, NY.
Visitation will be at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV, on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where the funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Christina Hosler presiding. Burial will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
