WEIRTON - Johnna Marie Paoloemilio and Steven Scott Deshuk were united in marriage on May 26 at St. Joseph the Worker Church. The 2 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Pete Giannamore.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, John and Kathryn Paoloemilio of Weirton. The bride chose an A-line gown with sweetheart neckline and corset closure with a bodice adorned with a crystal embellished band.
She carried a bouquet of fuchsia roses, peonies, Noreen lilies and pearls tied with a satin ribbon.

The groom is the son of Larry and Angela Long of Apple Grove, W.Va.
Tara Paoloemilio served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marisa Paoloemilio, sister of the bride, and Kara Magnone, Ashley Stucin, Erica Pietranton and Jessica Durst.
T.J. Deshuk, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dan Baus, Dell Smith, Edwin Sudduth IV, Michael Criste, the late Christopher Belfoure and Jacob Halsey, nephew of the bride, and Tyler, Peyton and Josh Barton, cousins of the groom.
Flower girls were Eleciana Patton, niece of the bride; Madison Paoloemilio, cousin of the bride; and Isabella Barton, cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Grant Barton, cousin of the groom.
After a reception at the Serbian American Cultural Center, the couple honeymooned at Sandals Grand Rivera Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Madonna High School and West Virginia University with a bachelor's degree in nursing.
She is a neonatal ICU nurse at Thomas Memorial Hospital in Charleston.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and WVU with a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's degree in business administration.
He is a financial adviser with Edward Jones in Charleston.
The couple reside in Scott Depot, W.Va.
