WEIRTON - The Indian Creek volleyball picked up a three-set victory at Weir High 25-23, 25-14, 25-19 Thursday.
The Redskins (13-2) were led by Jessica Furda's 22 assists, nine digs, eight aces, two blocks and two kills. Brey Mays added 11 digs, six kills and two aces, with Whitney Martin contributing 11 digs and seven kills.
Kiarra Kamarec had six kills, four blocks and three digs, with Bre Berryman adding seven kills and three blocks. Ali Collaros had nine digs, Mallorie Sullivan five digs and Alexis Fithen three kills.

For the Red Riders Kimberlyn Persina had 13 kills and three digs, Erin Hawthorne had 11 digs and Elena Wolverton had six kills, four aces and four digs.
Lauren Rosnick had five digs, three kills and two aces, with Haley McLaughlin adding six aces and five digs, Elizabeth Kush four kills and two digs, Morgan Goff five digs and Michayla Dobosz three digs.
Red Knights beat Cadets
TORONTO - The Toronto volleyball team stopped Linsly in four sets 24-26, 25-18, 25-13, 25-18 Thursday at Karaffa Middle School.
"The first set was absolutely ugly, but I can say that with a smile because we finished beautifully," said Toronto head coach Chelsey Fletcher. "These Lady Knights picked themselves up and dominated with class and mental toughness."
Cari Horne had 18 kils and Taylor Linn had 15 assists to lead the Red Knights. Katie Spadafora had five kills and four blocks, Lisa Scalley six kills, Josey Jones two blocks and two kills, Miranda Robinson seven assists and Shane Sears two digs.
Toronto returns to the court Tuesday when it hosts St. John Central in the Pink Game which supports the fight against breast cancer.
Big Red falls to Potters
EAST LIVERPOOL - The Big Red volleyball team lost in five sets (26-24, 16-25, 20-25, 25-18, 15-9) Thursday.
Abby Taylor had six points, 11 kills, 18 digs, 14 assists and eight digs, with Taylor Young adding eight kills, 13 digs and 14 assists.
Mytia Barker added nine kills and six digs, Brittany Bodo eight points and 12 digs and Carmie Biasi 13 points and 18 digs. Annie Nehrbas contributed 10 points, five kills and six blocks, while Kayla Crites added two kills and six blocks.
Big Red (6-1) hosts Weir Monday at 5:30 p.m.
Panthers lose to Jets
RAYLAND - The Buckeye Local volleyball team lost to Union Local 25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 25-14 Thursday.
For the Panthers, Amy Balk had eight points, four kills and three assists, with Becca Rector adding nine points, seven digs, three kills and eight assists.
Kayla Fillipovich had 13 points, three aces, 10 kills and two blocks, while Kaylee DeCesare added two points and 15 digs, Kierstyn Czuchran added seven kills, Lex Fedorko four assists and Morgan Staten four points, four digs, and three assists.
Buckeye Local (7-7) hosts Brooke Monday.
Brooke falls to University
WELLSBURG - The Brooke volleyball team fell 25-18, 25-12, 25-20 to visiting University Thursday.
For the Bruins Sam Mazzone had five assists and three digs, Brooke Murdoch had eight assists, Kourtney Leonard had three kills and two blocks and Emily Stuck had 12 digs. Angela Staffelino added eight kills, four blocks and four aces, with Isabella Preston chipping in three kills, two aces and five digs.
Brooke travels to Buckeye Local Monday.
Madonna wins two
WEIRTON - The Madonna volleyball team earned a pair of two set victories Thursday during a tri-match with Cameron (25-7, 25-13) and the Neighborhood Academy of Pittsburgh (25-5, 25-12).
In the tri-match the Lady Dons (17-0) received 10 aces from Katie Kramer, five aces and eight kills from Nicolette Sellitti, seven aces and seven assists from Dylan Fenske, two aces from Gabrielle Sellitti, 11 aces from Maddie Burchill, six aces from Emily Pietranton, six kills from Monica Bragg and four digs from Amanda Paul.
