The Academy of Lifelong Learning's six weekly Thursday trips will begin Oct. 4 and have been planned by Bill Black, Gloria Renda and Iris Craig.
Travel will be by bus, leaving the Heavenly Grounds parking lot on University Boulevard.
The first trip will be to Barnesville to tour the Dickinson Cattle Ranch, including lunch at the site.
Schoenbrunn Village will be the Oct. 11 destination with a tour of the restored settlement of Moravian missionaries. A tour of the Warther's Carvings Museum in Dover also is included.
The "Just Ducky Tour" on Oct. 18 from Station Square will visit Pittsburgh's past and present. Lunch at the Grand Concourse River Room will include a talk on the history of the Grand Concourse.
Oct. 25 will bring the longest trip, traveling to Columbus' German Village and Schmidts Restaurant and Sausage Haus.
A guided tour of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh is slated for Nov. 1. After lunch at the Spaghetti Warehouse in the Strip District, the group will visit the Carnegie Science Museum.
Antiquing with Nan Watzman will be the final tour Nov. 8. The group will head to Canonsburg, Pa., visiting various sites.
