Ready for some jazz
The United Way of Jefferson County once again will host its Jazz in the Garden event dedicated to donors. The event will take place at the Wintersville residence of Derek and Lisa Ferguson on Sept. 13 and feature music by Dr. Sonny Sunseri and his jazz band. Those who have received invitations should RSVP by calling (740) 284-9000. Reservations must be made by Wednesday. Among those helping to plan the event are, from left, front, Lisa Ferguson; Anita Jackson, chair of the Jefferson Society, event sponsor and coordinator; Nancy Grim, United Way of Jefferson County executive director; and back, Anthony Mougianis, 2013 United Way chairman and event sponsor; Ross Gallabrese, United Way board president; Derek Ferguson; and Dominic Teramana, president of Teramana Enterprises, sponsor.
