Carrollton blanks ’Cats

CARROLLTON - Carrollton rushed for 454 yards as a team and scored 28 second quarter points en route to beating Edison 55-0 at home.

Jake Peterson was the leading rusher for Carrollton with 164 yards on just seven carries. Peterson had two rushing touchdowns.

Tyler Dodd added three rushing touchdowns for Carrollton and finished with 109 yards on 10 carries.

Carrollton held Edison to just 148 yards on 71 total offensive plays. The Warriors also forced two interceptions.

Edison (0-2) looks to get healthy Friday when it hosts similarly winless Weir.
