The Richards family reunion was held Aug. 18 at Austin Lake in rural Toronto, bringing together members of the family of Frank Richards, who helped build Austin Lake.
Albert "Fats" Stewart was the eldest in attendance.
Activities included games such as horseshoe, egg toss and a sack race, a 50-50 drawing and auction. Attendees enjoyed guitar music and magic tricks by Harold Jones, auctioneer.
The 29th-annual DaGrava reunion was held Aug. 11 with 44 attending.
Marie DaGrava DeLibera was honored as the oldest living sibling. A surprise 90th birthday party was held for her with cake and gifts. She offered the prayer before lunch was served.
Reunion-goers played bocce, cards and basketball and went fishing.
Bonita Saul, reunion president, led the business meeting with minutes and historical reports shared.
Kevin DaGrava of Minnesota traveled the farthest.
The 30th-annual reunion will be held Aug. 10 at Pine Valley Sportsman's Club.
