TURICK, Janet Marie, age 54, of Toronto, OH, passed away suddenly Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at her home of natural causes.
She was born April 11, 1958, in Steubenville, OH.
Janet is a member of the St. Francis Roman Catholic Church of Toronto, the Toronto Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1276 and the Toronto American Legion Auxiliary Post 86. She is a 1976 graduate of Toronto High School.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Turick, Sr.; sister, Michelle Turick; brothers, Richard M. Turick, Jr. and David Turick.
Janet is survived by her mother, Eleanor E. Straka Turick, of Wintersville, OH; sisters, Angela Turick and Bridgette Simpson, both of Toronto, OH; brother, Eric Turick, of Minerva, OH; aunts, Marcia Bishop and Jane (Bob) Voorhees, both of Toronto, OH; nieces and nephews, Shawn Rood, Shawna Bodiford, Hilary Simpson and special niece, Julia Scott.
Friends and family will gather for visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday, August 23 at the Clarke Funeral Home, 302 Main St., Toronto.
A funeral service for Janet will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at the funeral home with the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery.
