Wintersville United Methodist Church located at 702 Main St., Wintersville, is having a free community carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 25.
Entertainment will include music by Power Surge and a puppet ministry presentation.
The event will include free school supplies, children's games, prizes, crafts, free hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, Sno cones.
"Everyone is welcome," a church spokesman said.
Getting organized for the outreach are Connie Budasz, Judy Weaver, Dianne Landberg, Susan Rayl, Michele Purviance, Cathy Grimm, Larry Standiford, Kitty Ferguson and Marlene Terpenning.
