Redskins top Red Riders
BLOOMINGDALE - The Indian?Creek golf team defeated Weir Tuesday at Red Oaks Golf Course.
The Redskins won with a team score of 184. Ian McIntosh scored a 42 to for top honors. Cole Yeater added a 46, Adam?Freshwater a 47 and Aaron Foldi a 49 to round out Indian Creek's scoring.
The Red Riders shot 193 as a team and were led by Zach Midcap's 44. Vince Gaudio scored a 47 with Chris Persutti and Tyler Warrick each scored a 51 as well for Weir.
Big Red preview Thursday
STEUBENVILLE - The Big Red football team will take on Wheeling Park Thursday at Harding Stadium in the final preview before the season opens Aug. 23.
The high school teams will play at 6 p.m. with the junior high teams beginning at 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
Meet the team will also take place during Thursday's preview.
