The American Red Cross Jefferson County Chapter will hold a summer fundraiser - "Girls Night Out" - on Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Brandywine Inn in Toronto.
Patrons can enjoy an evening of music by Mark Miller and Friends; hors d'oeuvres donated by the Ville, Piergallini Catering, Finishing Touches and the Brandywine Inn; and receive a goodie bag with favors and a tie-dyed T-shirt, according to Kathy Musso, executive director of the American Red Cross Jefferson County Chapter.
Beverages will include champagne, sangria, chocolate/orange dreamsicles, soda and coffee and be served by celebrity waiters John Cucarese, Dave Maple, Jim Conrad, Joe Loizzo, Paul Brandt and Ken Perkins.
The purse auction includes purses by Coach, Michael Kors donated by Tri-State Financial, Giani Bernini and Marc Fisher donated by Macy's and Miche donated by Cathy Davis.
The purses will contain surprise gifts, including Pirate tickets donated by the Herald-Star and The Weirton Daily Times; an overnight stay donated by Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort; sterling silver pendants donated by Rebecca Dryhurst; perfume and bath products; and other gifts.
"While enjoying good food and drinks, guests can also get a neck massage by George Komar, massage therapist; receive a Mary Kay Cosmetic moisturizing hand treatment by Janet Mayle; and have their nails painted compliments of Tracie Blevins of A Nail's Charm," Musso said.
Reservations can be made for $35 with a credit card by calling the American Red Cross at (740) 264-7244. Cost at the door is $40.
