To the editor:
I'm writing in regards of Monday's column by Michelle Malkin ("Biden's children are among those who struggle.")
How can we who depend on Social Security trust any Republican leader, or conservative leader, who calls for such cuts for the poor? Though cuts for the rich go unnoticed or untouched, my theory is those in power are so concerned with what some rich campaign pocketbook tells them, but the countless people who paid into Social Security now have to face even less. The old days of granny eating cat food to live are back, as well as the poor eating dog food to please a bunch of members of Congress who tell them to eat less and have no jobs. Well, we should tax the rich.
