JUHS sports guys having
A reminder to men who would have played a sport in the history of Jefferson Union High School by its name, from its beginnings in the 1940s through the mid-1980s.
If you played football, basketball, baseball or ran track, for example, there's a summer party happening Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. at the home of Theodore Maragos, according to Sam Geddis, where an informational meeting regarding this recently was held.
The event will be occasion to reminisce and socialize and is hoped to bring together former players, teachers, coaches and administrators.
Those planning to attend are encouraged to bring memorabilia or yearbooks and to wear brown and gold, JUHS school colors.
Depending on response to the August reunion, one next year will be expanded to include former female athletes from JUHS.
