STEUBENVILLE - Members of the Friends of Catholic Central High School will host the annual Blue and Gold Bash fundraiser on Aug. 11 at the Spot Bar.
The event will take place from 7 p.m. to midnight.
According to Rich Wilinski, committee member, all of the proceeds from the Blue and Gold Bash will go toward the general operating expenses of the high school.

"The tickets are $25 a person. And we will have a silent and a live auction during the evening. Several of the items to be auctioned off include the blue and gold afghan, a football signed by Jim Tressel and a football signed by Lou Holtz, tickets to the Ohio State University football game against Miami of Ohio on Sept. 1 and other items we are now receiving," explained Wilinski.
He said a cash bar will be open during the bash.
"We will also have special Catholic Central High School gift baskets and gift cards available for the auction," added Wilinski.
"We're anticipating a nice turnout," Wilinski said. "We have had a good turnout in the past and everyone has a very good time."
