Wintersville United Methodist

Wintersville United Methodist Church, 702 Main St., Wintersville, will hold its annual Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. July 9-13.

The theme this year is "Soak up the Son and Shine!"

Participants will be collecting money for three community missions: Urban Mission Ministries, the Jefferson County Fourth Street Health Center and Wintersville Good Neighbors.

"Our children usually collect more than $2.000 for the mission project we have each year. We have decided to keep the money in our community. We will be also doing mission work with our junior high youth at Mama Nita's coffee house in downtown Steubenville and the Fourth Street Health Center," a VBS program spokesman said.
