The Herald-Star

IRONDALE - Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was the setting for the June 2 wedding that united Rachel Carnahan and Samuel Pareso in marriage. The 4 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the bride's brother-in-law and the groom's best friend, Marc Hauck. Friends and family surrounded the couple on the beach.

The bride is the daughter of Todd Carnahan of Irondale and Marianne Tindor of Stratton. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pareso of Bloomingdale.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an ivory satin A-line gown with beaded embellishments along with a two-tiered elbow length veil.
