WEIRTON - Police officials announced another drug bust in the city Wednesday and made several more arrests after receiving a tip from U.S. Postal Service personnel.

According to Detective Gerard Spencer, Weirton Police Detectives' Street Crimes Unit received information from a supervisor at the U.S. Post Office that there was a suspicious package shipped from California. He said the package was addressed to Brittaney C. Mcabee at 2941 Elm St.
"There was a strong odor coming from the package," Spencer said.
During a follow-up investigation at the residence, officers were able to retrieve approximately 35 grams of marijuana. Police said Mcabee admitted to having the marijuana shipped from California and had it concealed inside a stuffed animal.

Police said the investigation is ongoing, and more people could be involved.
