WARWICK, Lenora, 82, of, New Manchester, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
Lenora was born on April 23, 1930, in Pughtown, WV. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter "Chalk" Herron; mother, Esther Ruth Herron; husband, William Donald Warwick; son, Richard T. Rector; daughter-in-law, Betsy Rector; and twin sister, Gladys Atwell.
Surviving immediate family include sister, Martha Jane Shaw; sister- in-law, Kathleen Shattenburg; grandson, Richard "Bud" Rector and his wife, Denise; and Betsy Marie, Lenora's only great-grandchild.
She was a retired employee of Homer Laughlin China in Newell, and Phillips' Hardware in New Cumberland.
She enjoyed spending time camping and boating along the Ohio River with friends and family. She was also involved with a Women's club, and was a supporter and hostess to Jay Rockefeller during his first gubernatorial campaign in WV.
Visitation will be held at the Nixon Funeral Home, New Cumberland, WV., Friday, June 8, 2012, 6-8 p.m with funeral services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at the funeral home.
