FAHRION, Ruth E., 95, of Wintersville, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Life Line Hospital.
She was born in McMechan, W.Va., on May 29, 1917, a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Stephens Wilson. She was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Fahrion; daughter, Paula Jo Fahrion; brother, Charles Wilson; sisters, Edith Conley, Eleanor Hilson, Clarissa Hall and Marjorie Slie and her grandson, Andy Kaminski.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Muriel) Fahrion of Medicine Park, Okla.; her daughter, L. Jane (Alex) Zucosky of Wintersville; brother, Thomas Wilson of Glendale, W.Va.; grandchildren, Colin Fahrion, Kim Fahrion, Kelly (Will) Seagraves, Mike (Jill) Zucosky and Kristi (Mark) Buren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio, on Sunday from 4-6 p.m., where funeral services will be held Monday, 12:30 p.m. Burial will be private at Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, W.Va.
